Federal Emergency Corps Has Been Created

Vice President Ivan Rezchikov has issued a new Directive №9/2026 establishing the Federal Emergency Corps (EMERCORPS) in the District of Liberty City in order to build a federal reserve of specialists trained in responding to natural and man-made disasters.

EMERCORPS is subordinated to the Vice President and can be deployed in any constituent entity of the European Federation with the consent of the regional government, or abroad, subject to approval by the President of the European Federation, exercised through the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, and with the consent of the receiving state.

It will be provided with an extensive range of specialized equipment such as heavy firefighting aviation, vehicles for chemical and industrial disaster response and other important supplies for rescuers. EMERCORPS is funded by a separate line item in the 2026 Federal Budget of Europe.
