Ivan Rezchikov

Vice President Ivan Rezchikov was born and raised in Pank-Sekterburg on September 28, 2010. He later moved to Italy, where he organized a national resistance movement in support of Duspean sovereignty in Northern Italy. During the Duspean War of Independence in 2016, he served as the main commander of a popular military formation. Following the conflict, he founded the Duspean Federation and became its first president, holding the office from 2016 to 2021.

Dusiburg in 2021-2022

On February 21, 2021, Ivan I was enthroned as Imperator of the Duspean Empire. During his reign, the Empire joined the Organization of United Virtual Nations. Later, the state underwent a series of political transformations: it was first reorganized into the Duspean Union of Socialist Republics, and subsequently, following a union with the Caucasus, into the Dusiburgo-Caucasian Socialist Republic (DCSR).

The Republic Era

On January 6, 2022, the Duspean Republic separated from the DCSR and became an independent state. The DU participated in several armed conflicts during this period. In 2025, following the Great War, Ivan initiated negotiations on the unification of the Country of Reality and the Duspean Republic into a single democratic federation. He was also a member of the interparliamentary assembly that adopted the Constitution of the European Federation.

Vice-Presidency and Later Role

In 2026, he was elected in the first presidential elections. As Vice President, he effectively assumed leadership of the entire cabinet, significantly expanding the powers of the office, which had originally been intended as largely ceremonial. By effectively heading the federal government—a role later formalized by law—Ivan Rezchikov contributed substantially to improving its efficiency and governance. He also serves as Governor of the Dusiburg State and is the founder and mayor of the city of Dusiburg, one of the largest and most technologically advanced cities in the European Federation. The state of Dusiburg hosts a significant number of the Federation’s largest companies. He is also a major businessman, owning some of the largest corporations in the western part of the European Federation, formerly the Duspean Republic.
