"Free Europe", a party in the House of Representatives, has proposed leaving the United Virtual Nations as "it no longer serves the European Federation's interests".
Members of the House, I call on you to discuss the idea of leaving the United Virtual Nations, because I believe this organization no longer serves our country's interests. Do you support this idea?
Free Europe members believe that the main reason for leaving the UVN is that it was created with the purpose of promoting diplomacy between countries, but it seems that it is not a place for diplomacy. Over the past year, three military conflicts have broken out: the Great War, the Avilshakht War, and the ongoing Russo-European War.
As the European Federation transforms into a digital state with its own services and virtual territories, Free Europe argues it needs partners focused on peaceful development. Meanwhile, the party says, the Russian Empire and other UVN states at war with Europe are interested only in military conflict. Europe does not wish to be drawn into conflict with these narrow-minded states.
Discussions will begin in the House, then move to the Senate and eventually the federal level — though it is already clear there is demand to leave the organization.
